Greetings,

I am replacing the exhaust system on my son's 97 850 wagon from header to tailpipe. It looks like the catalytic convertor outlet just slips into the muffler inlet tube and fastens with a with a special clamp (reminiscent of vintage VW clamps) Is there a donut type gasket or some kind of sealant that should be used here? Or is just the slip fit and clamp enough?
