check engine light
Time to pick someone,s brain. I have noticed in the warmer months that when I go up a long hil and the engine is runnig at 2500 to 3000 rpms there is a sulfur like smell that goes away within a few mins. in the last month my check engine light has come on. the manual says it is something with the emission systems. the car still is running fine. no bucking or hesitations. still runs down the road smooth. got any sugestions???

Sulfur smell = engine running too rich. If too much unburned gas passes through the engine and into the catalytic converter it will over heat, glow red and emit that nasty sulfur smell. If it continues it will destroy the cat by melting down the honeycomb structure inside the cat and plug it and kill your performance if not make it totally undriveable.
Do I have any suggestions, sure ..... get the codes read so we don't have to do so much guessing at "what if ??".

Ok, there are several sites that have DIY help.
If you change your mind, you might want to read this:

The people here are very helpful but do get frustrated when they get a request for help and the requester gives fragmented information. Kinda like paying a game with them and makes it hard to help you. I guess they are to involved in trying to help. May be a mental problem they have. IDK. LOL
