Hi, can any one help or guide me in the right direction on bleeding the clutch master cylinder on my 850 tdi. I have tried the normal methed of bleeding the clutch, but no flluid coming out of slave cylinder, I have tried presurerizing the system to force fluid through but still no sign of fluid out of slave cylinder, i have taken pipe off the back of master cylinder and pumped pedal, but no fluid even out of master cylinder. and yes the resawire bottle is full to the top. woulds be most gratfull for some positive invo. thanks

If you're pressure bleeding it with something like this, and it's not working, then something is plugged up somewhere..

So how did you get to this spot? Is the slave or master cyl new or rebuilt?

Default clutch bleeding problem.

Hi, what happened was the clutch pedal was really low, so i thought i would blead it to get any air out, my friend pumped pedal and held it down. i undone blead nipple on slave cylinder, some air and fluid came out, then nothing, pedal to to floor. im going to ket repair seal kits for cylinders hoping this might help,

I read a thread that recommended using an old style manual oil pump can. I bought one from Osh for a couple bucks and some hose then back bleed the fluid from the slave to the master by pumping it through the drain. I was skeptical but it worked like a champ.
