correlation btw abs and brake pad/rotar ware
Hi guys, just wanted to know, seeing as it's winter time, i noticed my abs kicking in quite often and with not that much pressure on the brake pedel. I have a feeling my pads and or rotors need to be changed, if they are almost finished would they cause the abs to kick in sooner? i know every cars ABS system is different, some kick in earlier and some later...let me know.thanks

Yes 10mm bolt is securing the sensor. I would use a can of brake cleaner spray. I would also clean the pulser teeth; see attached; courtesy of Volvospeed.com.
