Yes that is a good price but if you want to save even more the actual breather box does not need to be replaced, its hollow. It can be flushed out and reused. You really only need the 4 vent hoses.

But, in this case your only spending about $20 more and getting everything so go for it.

Thanks, I'll grab the whole unit just in case, after reading more about exhaust valves I bought mine for 14 bucks each, I think I read there 70, in total without the PVC kit I spent 175 for two valves, gasket set and head bolts from rock auto. I'll keep you posted on the amount of frustration I go thru lol.

Update, head is off and cylinder 2 valve is chipped, the rest of them look just awful with carbon built up on them. Gonna pull them out tomorrow and sand blast them at work. Intake valves look good. This is my first time tearing into an 850 head, so much easier then the S80. I left the turbo on and think the only issue I'll have is getting exhaust gaskets to stay well I maneuver the head on.

What he said

The mysterious "Black Box" innards !!!

What you want to check is if the bottom port of the black box is plugged and if it isn't you still want to check if it's plugged in the pan. If you use a chunk of heater hose and try to blow into the lower port it will indicate if you have a problem in there.

AND, make sure you clean out the PTC valve in the intake.

I had no plans on removing the oil pan, should I if the bottom hole is plugged? The bigger hose of the two that's together was broken at the bend, explains all the gunk built up around the turbo and ptc.
