Default deactivate alarm

[:'(]my alarm goes off in the middle of the night .the alarm horn doesnt work any more but the flashers blink off and on all night long.i left the doors unlocked last night and had no problem.but i cant do that at a store parking lot.is there some way i can remove or deactivate this thing i really dont need it.thanks everybody

Under the dash on the drivers side. Remove the lower dash panel. Then find the relays. One of them is marked Alarm system just remove it.

[8D]i heard on another site that this will shut nown the ignition say it isnt so

I don't think just the alarm one will. I think it is a red one.
I might be wrong. It will only take you about 5 minutes to find out though.

The relay is the 210/211 relay. Once youremove it you will need to jumper the socket positions associated with pins 50E and 50F on the 210 side of the relay or the car will not start. It is nearly impossible to get to the sockets without first removing the relays below it.

If you want to make things a little more permanent you can buy a 210 jumper relay at your local dealership. It was standard on cars that didn't have an alarm.
