Default deleting the wastegate solenoid

if i just wanted to up the boost a little bit to around 12 or 13 psi below the boost cut could i eliminate the solenoid and use a manual or electronic boost controller ? or even a higher psi wastegate actuator ? or would the ecu get angry and pull power and timing ?

Yep, it will work just fine, you won't bend rods at this sort of level.

Yes, this is totally fine and if you some day get a tune you can set the boost beyond the fuel cut off area. Enjoy.
