Hey everyone, Im 17 and i just bought myself a 1994 850 turbo wagon. Got it for a cheap price, $1500 and it has about 185,000 km. new transimission.

But theres some small little details that i need fixing.

-My seat heater doesnt work on the drivers seat
-The back door sometimes when you close it it doesnt latch shut it just swings back oepn.
-the same door the lock sometimes gets permanently locked shut and i gotta jimmy around with it.
- also i was wondering what size speakers the car has... i dont have the original owners manual with me...
- also im not sure if anyone else has this problem but my sunroof when i close it all the way it seems to go IN too far like it doesnt sit level witht he roof its inside the car and i have to press the switch to make it higher.

Please let me know... also just wondering what are some small cheap upgrades that i could do to the car to make it a bit more suped up.

 

Seat: half the seat heaters don't work. May need a new coil, might be a switch.

Door: sounds like something is just getting sticky inside, take off the door panels and lube everything up

Speakers: click this

Sunroof: It may be off the track or maybe the motor is going out.

Cheap Upgrades: Stage 0, MBC and boost gauge. After that mod, there really is no such thing as a cheap upgrade.

The door lock/latch could be a sprung hing or similar due to a broken check strap. My father is in the collision repair business and the first thing he did after I bought my first Volvo (the same one I'm driving) was look at the driver side door check strap. It was broken (he said it is a very common problem) but about two minutes with a mig welder and it was fixed. Try a body shop for this issue.
