I recently bought a 1995 850 Wagon that had been sitting for about a year before the purchase. None of the door stops seem to work properly- there are no incremental stops or anything to hold the doors back when opened; they just swing wide open, sometimes into other parked cars. Before i go to the dealer, does anyone know if this problem has an easy fix? Just for further information, it seems that the welding on two of the door stops broke off, but the other two stops (as well as the one on trunk) are fully connected, they are just not holding the doors back. Thanks!

 

My wife's '95 wagon does the same thing. And if you are parked on a angle they will close on your leg.
\Maybe its normal?
