EGR boost leak
i just took out the egr crap yesterday. Since then i've been having problems. At first it was good, but then after about 10 minutes of driving, the car suddenly started having a lumpy idle, to the point where it would seem like it was about to die, and hiccupy acceleration on initial acceleration, and the car would go into low boost mode (~9psi). I didn't do anything different other than remove the egr. I made a blockoff plate and put it on, and i capped off the exhaust pipe. Since the delete i have gotten code 2-3-3 - long term idle air trim, and code
2-3-1 - long term fuel trim - part load ....comes up everytime. I didn't mess with my fuel settings at all. What can be wrong? Maybe the car can't do without EGR?
Everytime the problem happens, i reset the ecu and it drives fine for another 10minutes, then problems start again.

If you are talking about the 2 little holes on either side of the silver saucer shaped housing then the diaphram is bad. It will HAVE to be replaced. Buy a "mighty vac" hand held vacuum pump and pull a vacuum on the hose going into the valve. It should pull a lot of vacuum and hold it. It it just sucks air (sounds like your problem) then it is bad. You can plug it off temporarily but will get the EGR code and light all the time.
