well i think its a problem .when i switch off my 1996 850 cd it runs on for about 2 seconds then stops ,does not do it all the time ,and the car runs great no choughs or stalling always starts 1st time should i worry about this or just live with it.thanks in advance

 

Might be a bad ignition switch.

 

update on my small problem it only does it after a 20 mile or more trip and not all the time ,or if i nip to the shops and back if it runs on for a couple of seconds it turns over a couple of seconds longer when starting if it stops right away then when starting starts 1st turn. only problem i have with this great car dont think an ignition switch would do this ? or am i wrong any body out there had the same problem
