Hello everyone,

Hope somebody can give me an idea what is going on with my 94 Volvo 850. Driving down the road, the engine quits, but it's easy to get started again. I thought maybe it could be the fuel pump, but then wouldn't it just not work period. Let me know what you think.

have you replaced the fuel filter? If its getting clogged it may prevent enough gas from getting to the injectors. The fuel pump relay may also be suspect as well as the wiring to the pump. Does it seem to happen randomly or is it after you hit a bump or something?

 

It could also be a bad Cam sensor. Also make sure all the wires at the positive terminal are clean and tight.
