exhaust issue, blue smoke?, burning oil?
So this may be a lengthy one, but for years my 850 turbo has been burning oil and pouring blue smoke out the exhaust, especially at stops. It used to be a rare occurence and small amount, but lately its been POURING out at stops surrounding the entire car and dumping out while driving. A trip to the dealership later and we got about 7ish oil leaks fixed and it temporarily stopped. An oil change did little as well. Any advice?
I would find out what oil leaks the dealership found, and start fixing those permanently. IF it still does it after fixing leaks, then you most likely have internal engine damage/wear such as bad valve guides/worn piuston rings.
Good luck
Good luck
we already did the maintanence on the pcv sys. If it is the piston rings or valve guides, whats the story on the repair? Major? Expensive? Best left with professionals?
