Post Experiences with Seafoam Spray?

Does anyone have any experience using Seafoam spray on a 2.4L N/A I5 from the 96' 850? (Base Model) I've heard mixed reviews on it as a product (mostly positive) from car to car and wanted to know if anyone had any information to share.
Thanks!

Luke,

what problem are you trying to solve? The only concern I've heard is on how the spray gets into the intake - if you are going to suck in the spray via an upstream vacuum line, you will risk messing up the MAF. A better deal would be to use CRC MAF cleaner on the MAF then use carb cleaner products on the idle air valve. There's also a great recent post on how to clean your throttle body as well.

Just doing a full tune up and wanted to know if this is something anyone would recommend on a 130K Mile N/A engine.

I'd start by inspecting the throttle body just to see how clean it looks. If the car has been getting regular air filter changes it should be fine.

These engines don't do well with Seafoam. I have gotten a few calls about people having massive oil leaks post a Seafoam treatment. Not sure if it is crankcase add or vacuum ingesting. You can let the system suck it in through the vacuum tree.
