Factory tire size for Columbas on a FWD wagon?
In a word: yes. That being said, the additional height of the 55 vs the 50 is probably not something you are going to notice. It's also not gonna throw off your speedo a huge amount.
I run a 205/55/16 on my wife's saab instead of the 205/55/16 - the ride is slightly softer, and the tires are a LOT less expensive.

On some cars (depending on the state of your suspension) you may have rubbing in the front wheel wells at full lock with 55's. The correct size should be 205/50/16. I've tried both and I prefer the 50's.
(Not that anyone cares, but I'm currently running 50's up front and 55's in the back and all is well, but 55's up front were annoying)

@bond007, I have a '96 Turbo Platinum Edition and I run 205/55/16 as indicated on my gas cap door. I do not rub, front at full lock, nor in the rear. My suspension is stock except for the Bilstien HD struts.
@boxpin, Love your car. That is the exaxt color of my wagon, minus the front and rear spoiler (I am so want that on my car).
