Haha thankfully we are on the complete back end of the complex. It is really quiet down there and good open space. Management never comes on our end.. they dont even know about my second dog I have had for months.. screw $20 more a month haha

Alright guys I had my fiance check out the service history and receipts since I have been at work and the timing belt and serpentine belt were changed in 2007 at 97k on the odo..

It now has 127k on the odo.. should I look into doing it at only 30k miles?

does it tell you when a tune up was done?at 30k l would be looking at spark plugs. if the plug wires, distributor cap and rotor have never been changed you might as well just change it for better performance.if the timing belt has 30k on it, you probably have like 40 to 50k to go.

These people took this car to the dealer if they ran over a pebble.. I mean I have 90+ receipts and records galore even the original window sticker..

Bought in Lexington, Kentucky for $35k back in 1996 haha

to check for a clogged pcv system, turn on your car and let it warm up.remove the dipstick and see if there is white smoke gushing out of the whole.here is a video on how to check it.
now that video shows you a badly clogged pcv system and needs replacing

Just read all of the service history.. took an hour haha

Nov 25, 2011 they had the spark plugs, ign wire, fuel filter, plate cleaner, and fuel injectors done at 125k miles

May 19, 2011 They replaced spark plugs, new radiator put in with new radiator hoses at 121k miles

March 23, 2011 They replaced the fuel pump and the relay at 120k miles

October 7, 2005 Starter and starter motor replaced at 91k miles

HAHA. This is great.. now I am just stuck in what to do.. I will check the pcv system today. Distributor cap and rotor? Intake? Turbo hoses?

I would use the records at the guide. I would not do the timing belt until it's due. If the wires were replaced within the last year, I wouldn't touch them for 100k or if they need it, like it runs rough. Do things that you haven't seen receipts for, like change brake fluid and coolant, etc.

When I got my wagon, the tb sticker said 106,000 in 6/2006 so I didn't replace it until 205,000 3/12. My wires were dated 36/10 so I know it had a tune up after Aug 2010 so I'm not doing one until 220,000, plugs only.

If you have service records, focus on the stuff that they did not do and do the other stuff when it's due or you have a problem with it.

Thats it! I am just gonna order the distributor cap and rotor and the Snabb intake!

I finally got the time to joyride in it this afternoon and stock this thing is damn quick. Threw it in sport mode and got up to 100 before I knew it. Now time to open those pipes a little more.

Anyone have any mpg tips? Other than intake and filter..

There is an ENTIRE THREAD stuck on MPG in the 850 section. Read through it. Most get 19/27 but you can do a little better. My personal best was 25/29.

Definately check/do the PCV system. You do NOT want to blow any seals in that thing. May want to do a tranny fluid change as well.

You should have the lcd information center in the gauge cluster that will give you mpg.

I dont trust those. They are usually always over clocked by the manufacture. I sold cars for Honda and got to know that all the service guys say dont trust them..

My 2012 Civic sometimes says that I get 50 mpg on the freeway.. yet I can only go 410 miles on the tank.. haha

Then check mileage three old fashioned way: fill tank, drive until empty, refill, then see how many miles you drove.

But I am American. Lazy as hell. Haha

But it would be nice to have to get the diagnostics code and to reset the check engine light. Found a bluetooth one that links to my cell phone on Amazon for $15
