DO NOT SEAFOAM!

Unless you want to do two oil changes in one day.

This isn't a 5SFE Toyota engine and is more complicated.

Seafoam is great for a fuel system cleaner.

As far as the pic...I have no idea what you're referring to. Can you highlight the item?

It's the tube in the middle of the screen. There's some sort of connector coming out of it. It's shaped like =|= . It looks like it's meant to connect two tubes.

Follow it and see where the other end goes. Is there a hole in the main hose there(Big one)

I have the same thing. It's the vacuum tube that comes off the bottom of the big tube. If you feel under the big tube you will feel a hole. It looks like someone tried to fix it with a cheap connector they got from an auto parts store. I picked up one of those connectors a few weeks ago and have not gotten around to trying to fix mine.

I guess it creates some sort of small vac infraction that is not big enough to matter. Sends a little air somewhere that is not a big enough deal to matter.

Try to remember that "important things" cause CEL's and cause the car to run rough.

Is that part of the turbo control valve? Connects to the bottom of the intake right behind the map sensor? Just a guess, the picture is a bit on the blurry side.
