Front O2 sensor check engine light came on once and has not returned

Front O2 sensor check engine light came on once and has not returned
The check engine light came on once about 4 months ago for the front O2 sensor. I cleared the CEL and it hasn't come on for 4 months. Should I go ahead and replace the front O2 sensor anyways or could the CEL just have been a fluke?
I replaced the rear O2 sensor about 8 months ago.
