Front Passenger Floor Soaked

Front Passenger Floor Soaked
We had heavy rains here in Richmond, VA yesterday. On my way to taking my son to school he asked, "Dad, why is the floor all wet?" I let out a choice word. I get to work and pull the floor mat out and it's soaked; same for the carpet underneath.
My first thought was vapor barrier behind the door card, but I said let me search first. I come to my desk and search the forum for water leaks, and to my surprise I see a lot mentioned about the sunroof drains. I go back to the garage and feel along the headliner; sure enough wet along the front passenger corner. How the heck does it get all the way to the floor and leave no trace.
Now here's the kicker; my sunroof is broken. It will tilt up but not go back, and if you tilt it all the way up it will not close back down w/out persuasion. I had my mechanic order parts on Monday, but they are not in yet. I’m going to have him clear the drains of any obstruction while he’s doing it.

Update
Well, my sunroof is still inoperable.
My mechanic told me that one of the tracks is bent, and the requires the sunroof to be taken out to fix. The part is about $140 and the labor is about three hours.
However, he was able to get the drains cleared. He told me because the track was bent, when I tried to open the sunroof the drains were knocked off of what guides the water to them. I hope I'm saying that right. He was able to get the guides attached to the drains and they tested it to make sure all was good.
I like all options in my cars to be full functional, so this is really eating at me...haha Has anyone attempted this fix before?
Thanks

My headliner needs to be done too due to water stains and saggin in a couple areas. It'll be nice to change it to black.

I saw where another member grabbed a sunroof from a v70. I'll shop around to see what I can find.
