Frozen ?
After our snowstorm on monday and sub freezing temperatures my 95 850 will not start. I added Isopropyl and have a heater on the engine compartment trying to thaw any frozen fuel lines. Is there any other options? I have already missed one day of work . Thank you.
when you say won't start, I assume it turns over but not catch? with all the ethanol in gas these days I'd be surprised if its a frozen fuel line but its possible - heating the engine compartment doesn't help the lines running the length of the car or the fuel tank however. You may need to get a tow to a heated garage or wait for an above freezing day. Have you tried using some starting fluid (spray) into the intake? (not sure if you have a turbo or not so this may not be doable) Only other easy steps are to assume its a fuel delivery issue - check the fuses and test for a bad fuel pump relay (you can try jumpering then turn the key on to see if you can hear the pump engage)
Did you try the starting fluid and if so did it fire ??
Have you checked for spark ??
After it's sat for a couple hours have you tried turning it "ON" and listened for the fuel pump buzz or humm from back by the tank ??
