I just installed my E-code lenses for my 850R and thought the beam pattern would be a lot better than the origianl lenses that came with the vehicle. I was surprise to find out that it is not better than the originals. I thought the E-codes have wider beam pattern angles. Anyhow, when i took the lense off, there is a metal piece in the middle of the headlamp, does anyone know that that is for and what happens if i remove it?
