Hi,

I really need some help. I'm driving home today and just finished cresting a very steep hill when all of the sudden POP from the engine and the car begins to lose power. I pull over to investigate and everything appears OK but I notice a slightly burnt smell. Check oil...fine. Coolant...fine Nothing leaking. Temp gauge shows 3 o'clock...fine. No transmission arrow flashing. Limped the car home 1/2 mile during which time the check engine light appears. Car does not not go more than 30mph. Turbo needle was moving and temp still fine. I pulled the codes and the only one was 1-2-1 which I believe is the MAF? Could this have malfunctioned like this or is it a symptom of something else?

I FOUND IT!!! There is a HUGE hole in the hose that attaches to the TB. I didn't see it at first because it blew out from underneath and the hole really wasn't visible. I felt around and that's how I found it. I took a photo for you all...
