I lost all my Lights/Electronics at night on the highway! HELP!!
Hey,
I lost all my electronics/lights in my 2000 S40 on the highway the other day doing 75mph..at night. SCARY. The car seemed like it wanted to stall. This has happened before, but it only happens every once in a while. Also, every time I drive to NYC, I get stuck in traffic and the car stalls. Usually the break falure light comes on with or without the DSA light. When I had the issue the other day, the break failure light came on with the DSA at the exact moment that I flashed my high beams. A split second after the flash is when I lost all my electronics/lights. The next day, I was driving in the snow, and ever time I got to a stop sign and applied the breaks, the radio was turning on and off. Have you ever heard of this type of problem. Part of me thinks that there is a computer malfuntion, and part of me thinks battery/alternator. Any input would be greatly appreciated!
