i am looking at gettting this volvo 850 t5.. the guy i might be getting it from says the turbo leaks a little oil, about a half a quart every 3-4,000 miles how bad is this? how cheap can it be fixed? i am mechanical but know nothing about turbos its new to me. the car has around 114,000miles the body has a few ding but not bad the interior needs in my opinion two new front seats or seats outta a wrecked car. any imput on other things i should look at before buying the car.i plan on a pre sale check by my local mechanic but any particulars please help me out

thanks
A half a quart every 3-4000 miles is not bad. Our 95 Turbo with 191K on it uses about that much every 3-4K. If you are serious about the car, check all fluids, ask for maintenance records, and ask for proof of when the timing belt and all timing belt rollers and tensioner were last changed. The belt, etc is good forroughly 7 years of 70,000 miles so if it is not benn changed, it is way overdue.
