Unhappy HELP! Trans Code 323 After New Wheel&Tire Size

Whats up Volvo people. Is it just me or does something always break after upgrading/modding!?! Last night after swapping my stock 16'' wheels off my 94' 855 Turbo for a set of 17's from a C70, my tranny began to shift poorly and lug my engine down when stopping at lights. This morning on the way to flush out my tranny fluid the shift light finally started flashing and the code is 323, slipping lock-up. The tranny is not in limp home mode! Feels like the converter isn't stalling or trying to lock up. Flushed the fluid, didn't help. New tires are 225/45/17 and only slightly taller then the 205/55/16's. Did this cause the problems?
Is this repairable or is the tranny on its way out?
Thanks, CJ

It might be on it's way out.
Do the codes come right back after clearing them?

The code clears but still drives the same, then code comes back after a few miles. Only way it shifts half way decent is if I manually shift it.

Double check on the correct ATF level (engine at idle, fluid warm) and its colour (clear red). If both are fine, then the tranny may be passing away as per Tech.

Went for a longer drive today, about 50 miles out then back, and no light or code. Tranny began shifting smoothly and on time on its own. Under full acceleration at 18psi it still doesn't transmit the power the same though. But its far better then its was. But now I'm worried and think I'll locate another tranny just in case.
Thanks for the help guys.......

Cool hopefully it will straighten out.
Try to find a manual tranny car and make yours a manual transmission.

I've been thinking bout that Tech. Its the only thing holding me back from getting a bigger turbo.
