Default Hide-a-Key -- Where is a good spot?

I'm looking for a good spot for a magnetic hide-a-key. The bumpers don't seem to have any good exposed steel pieces. What's a good place to keep the spare key?

I'm thinking that the upper side of the fuel filter might be a good spot.

On my 850 I scraped off some of that ****ty undercoating near the rear shocks and near the gas tank and put it way up in that high up spot. Its still there after a year, and I drive like a mad man.

Now where exactly did you hide it and where exactly do you live?
