Default Hitting a Bump Makes AC Fan Work!

That's the good news. When I start up my '96 850, the ac blower does not work on any speed. Then when I hit a nice good bump in the road, it comes on, all speeds work.

Do I have a loose connection somewhere? Problem with motor?

Any thoughts would be appreciated as I would not like to spend major $ replacing the whole blower unit or motor if I don't have to.

And I don't have any good bumps close to my house.

It might be a bad resistor causing the issue.

I had a similar issue with one of my old Suburbans and it was the brushes on the blower motor. I could kick the motor and it would blow again for a while - at that point you just need to replace it.

haha, thats really funny.

could be a resistor, or the pluf on the resistor/blower motor.
