How do I install a driver's door?
I got a used drivers door for my 95-850. Current one is all rusted. I am cautious about putting the new one on...I fear that once I get the old one off, the new one won't line up, etc. Any hints on dis-assembly and installation? I see that there is a rubber 'umbilical' from the door jam to the door. How does this get removed? etc.....I would like to do it before the weather turns.
I don't want to land up with a whistling door, or one that scrapes because it is mis-aligned.

For the most part it should line up pretty good when you put it on.
For the wiring if you follow it close to the body you will see a plastic ring and a small torxes screw. Remove the screw and turn the ring to unplug the harness.
To swap the door if you look by the hinge you will see an inverted torxes screw on each hinge. Remove the 2 screws and lift the door off and swap them out.
