Default Shrink myself down to miniture to install door handle

Thats about the only way I can figure that it might be possible to install a door handle in this car. How do you do it? You cant SEE anything in there! After about an hour messing with it down in the cold garage I came upstairs just before the tools started flying. There must be some sort of trick or something. Anyone?

My humble thanks in advance... Dave

are you talking about the interior or exterior handle, or the latch mechanism itself ? I've had all of them out and back in again on my 850. First tool required is patience.

Default door handle

lister- yes, should have been more specific. Outside door handle with lock cylinder. I messed with it for about an hour. Cool for the first 50 minutes, warmer each minute there after. Finally had the sense to leave it and come back later! Dave

Default door locks

I GOT IT!! I GOT IT!! and I owe it to a better flashlight. the solution was gently pushing the long flattened shaft with a small sdriver (through the little hole) to help direct it into the white disc with slot.Sorry for the fire alarm, at midnight last night I was pretty frustrated. Another example of getting away from it for a while...... Dave
