I know this is a lame question but I cannot figure it out.

 

What year and what continent are you on? Are you asking about defeating the DRLs or are your lights somehow stuck on after the key is turned off?

Sorry Lee should have been more descriptive. It is a 95 850 and I am in the US. I am just wanting to have the option of turning off the headlights. Example: We were waiting at the airport in the passenger pickup waiting area and it was cold outside. So I wanted to leave the car running but by doing this my headlights were shining on the car in front of me. Not very polite!

Bottom right hand corner is a straight slot like a screw driver you can use a small screwdriver and turn it and disable the light on the left hand position on the switch.

 

Dam Tech I tried that and it wont turn. I am afraid of breaking it off. Should it turn easy? Left or Right

 

I think it turns right try pushing it in then turning it.

I have mine so they stay on all the time. If I was in a situation with a car in front of me I would just turn the parking lights on and that turns the headlights off. I now have the yellow one set up so I can have the parking lights, fog lights and headlight LED's only on with parking light setting.
