So, it's summer...My A/C in my 95- 850 NA could be colder. I replaced the evaporator and drier last year, so I know that the system is o.k.. How do I know that I have enough coolant in the system? I see that I can buy a can at the local auto parts store, but how do you know if you put 'too' much in?

 

Id check your levels first..
When You changed the evap did you replace the orifice tube?
When was the last time you vacuumed the system down?

 

Look on your shock tower, there should be a sticker there with the amount. Its 26 something ounces. Its pretty much one big can and one small can. Its really best to vacuum the system down first because you dont know how much is in there. You may over or under charge the system.
