How to remove rear brake rotors
Hello
I need to change the rear brake rotors. I can easily remove the brake pads, and the bolts that hold the caliper, but then the calipers are still held by a hard line (for the brake fluid) or the parking brake.
How should I proceed
Thanks

The caliper will still slide off without removing the line. I always slide it off then hang from the coil spring. Then the rotor might need a tap to loosen it.
I usually hang iteither from the spring or by the fuel neck or the exhaust pipe with a piece of bailing wire or a piece of string. The latter two tend to not bend the brake line as much.
Depending on the wearinside of the drum you may need to release the tensionon the parking brake shoes. There is a hole in the face of the rotor that will let you draw the parking brake shoes in with a screwdriverbut it is a little toughto find the star adjuster. The adjuster can be accessedis near the top of the rotation around the 11:00 position as I recall.
Prying down on the adjuster (Once you are on it you will know it) will bring the parking brake shoes in and allow you to pull the rotor off with no effort at all.
Once you put on the new rotors you will need to re-tension the parking brake with the same star adjuster to make it work.
There are some pictures in this writeup that I did that might help you.

I used a bungee cord to hang the caliper on, I hooked the bungee cord onto the suspension coils and ran it thru the caliper. I used a hammer to get the rotor off, had to hit it pretty hard several times.
