I am going to have to replace the clutch in my 5-speed 95 850. 4th gear synchros are bad, and I sure would like to fix them. While I have it apart.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but there are NO PARTS for a M56 other than bearings and seals...thats it. You will have to source another trans and hopefully get some good syncros from it.

 

Yes, that is what I am asking for. I don't mind crushing a car to one piece, but only if nobody here has any, and only if reverse won't interchange.
