Visiting family and seeing sights. Seen the Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam and Mount Rushmore on this trip. Also fished the Salten Sea, spend a couple of days in Vegas and a few days in Salt Lake City.

The NY trip will be for a family gathering.

Made it home. Put over 4,500 on the car in 16 days.

Seen a Green T-5R wagon on the way home in KC. It was very nice.

Oh, almost forgot. I pumped some other gas and switched to Phillips 66 again and got about 13% better gas mileage. Not as much as the first improvement but it was a lot better.

You guys may want to test a few different fuels. I was considering draining some of the fuel into a container and having it tested for octane rating to see if they were selling me 87 labeled as 91.

As far as I know, fuel octane doesn't affect mileage - higher octane just reduces pinging/knocking. Right?

Don't push that button. I believe it does but some say it doesn't.

Just started reading this thread. We are a few hours from Salt Lake. My wife and I went of a quick vacation there last summer. BEAUTIFUL city. We are not LDS, but we took a tour of the temple down there. Magnificent. Absolutely stunning. I would say we walked 15 miles that day going from place to place.

Too bad you are heading the other direction. If you are ever near Boise stop in, would love to buy you that coffee.

Cool, I plan to go back next year this time. I will likely visit other places during that trip. I'll look you up.
