There are many people that ask about this swap on here, and like stated many many times before on here you are far better off selling your N/A car and buying a turbo car. Theres a lot of parts you would need, almost the entire engine bay from a turbo car. Search around on here and you'll see what I mean. You would need a 1994+, and the 1997 glts are low pressure turbos.

+1 on what shelby said. There just isnt a lot of power to be had with a non-turbo 850, especially the 93 models.

Sell the N/A and buy a turbo, THEN start building it.

yea thats what ive been told, i really didnt want the car,i had a 93 civic i was having problems with, its hard to find a clean car that no one has touvhed and messed up, so i traded it for this volvo so i just figured id try to do somthing with it, but nevermind thanks to your input, its too pricy for a project to me, im more into hondas anyway, so with that being said i posted the car on craigslist for 1000, is that fair?

you would have more fun with a turbo Volvo then an Honda anyday. but 1k for that is reasonable. Personally I will never own a Honda. a stock 850 turbo makes 225hp, and is built a bit better then then a honda but to each his own good luck
