mostly smokes when accelerator released, oil build up inside intake hose. runs cool, has power. has some oil leakage in front, no blow back from oil cap or dipstick, uses 1 quart every 150 miles.

I am thinking the engine is shot or the pcv system needs to be replaced. How many miles and do you know when the pcv canister was last changed? You can do a compression test to check the condition of the engine.

Also, what color is the smoke? Black, white, bluish gray?

 

compresion is good, bluish grey, pvc, never, i am leaning towrd pvc venting system
