Default intermittent Dash Light Failure

My dash lights went out a few weeks ago and I am having trouble tracking down the culprit. It seems to be just the gauge lights, radio lights (minus the frequency display), and computer light. I checked the fuse and it is intact. Today I drove drove to work and when I arrived at work the lights were intermittantly sort of flashing on and off. Any thoughts on what the cause could be?

Dimmer switch
loose (not bad) fuse
loose connector

(in that order of probability)

Thanks for the help. Any idea how to get the dimmer switch out? I was able to pry out the switch below it, but, I can't seem to get the dimmer out.

It is a pain sometimes. I have a long angle pick I use to pull it out.

assuming im replacing the switch for sure, i take a smaller ish flat tip and put it in the front of the switch, put a lil tension on it and wiggle it around.
