i HAD SOME SYMPTOMS WHERE THE CARS fuel relay was sticking and i would hear ir,it wouldnt start untill 10 miutes of playing w/the key back and forth.

Now that has stopped recently but it keeps stalling like its getting no fuel.I put my finger on the relay while it bogs out and stalls, but the relay seems ok...

Hello Mr. Dannydoo,

The title on your thread made me think you actually saw Jesus standing on the diagnostic terminal.

Anyway:

>I got codes A1(Transmission)
114: Program selector open circuit or short circuit to supply.
↑Probably a loose, damagedor dirty wire/connector to the econ/sport switch.

>A2 (Fuel Control)
121:

→For Fenix 5.2 (10-valve non-turbo engine): MAP sensor signal absent or faulty.
→For Motronic 4.3 (20-valve turbo engine): MAF sensor signal absent or faulty.

Motronic 4.4 is used for 1996-1997 on B5254 S engines and is similar to Motronic 4.3.

>A3 (ABS Control):
211: LH front wheel sensor, no signal when moving off.
222: RH front wheel sensor, no signal from ABS system.
213: LH rear wheel sensor, no signal when moving off.
214: RH rear wheel sensor, no signal when moving off.
241:Not found (try the on-line link you find somewhere on the 850 threads).
142: Faulty stop light switch, open/short circuit.
144:Brake disc overheated (cars with TRC only).
444: No power supply to hydraulic modulator valves.

↑It is extremely unlikely that all these sensors have failed, unless youfell offfrom a cliff/drove into the ocean, so it is most likely a faulty ABS module, notorious for Volvo's and the mfg (either Volvo or ATE) should replace them free in my opinion. By the way, the module is made in ......

>i got a 124,114,113 from somewhere too?

Hey! 850 has 100 diagnostic features (exaggerated) so please specify from which socket you got those codes! Even power seats & instrument clusters have bloody diagnostic codes!

Not to worry, I worked yesterday and my boss used me free for an hour, rats.

Happy New Year,
