Cross Country wont start help.
Hey guys need some urgent help here.
A little while ago my volvo 2001 cross country awd turbo 5 cylinder had a small split in a radiator hose. Whilst my dad was driving it, it got a little hot and overheated. The car just cut out on him. Ever since it wont start back up. It winds over but wont fire. I got some advice off someone to unplug the battery to reset the ecu. I did this and it didn't make a difference.
Please any help would be fantastic.

You can unplug the battery 58,138 times and that does nothing except add a spark across the negative terminal each time you connect it back.
If the car overheated, it didn't get "a little hot", it was overheated, period. You probably have blown head gasket and lack of compression.
Time for a rebuild. But, of course, your battery is fine.
