i am leaking a ton of power steering every time i stop, there is also pressure in the power steering reservoir, it seems to be leaking from the rack or somewhere near the back under the turbo..

what is going on!

 

O-rings in the rack getting old?

 

probably, but i really need to know if theres supposed to be pressure in the reservoir.

 

Well if the fluid level is low you are pumping air around causing a pressure build up.

 

therefore i need to keep it topped up? ok, ok i get it it leaks slowly and when it gets low it fills with air (pressure) and then it creates puddels because of the pressure in the system?

that means i might not have a serious leak.

 

I will bet the steering rack is bad.

 

its worth a shot to save me 300$
