Yeah, Gilber, if you want the headlights I found them cheapest on Ebay. If you want help retrofitting new projectors in it let me know . I know what to do :P.

What are in there stock? Those are the headlights I want, but I assume they're not projectors? I just wanna run HIDs.

 

They do have projectors in them, but they are 2" Halogen projectors. They aren't that great, however they are good clear 2" len's. They are H1 projectors, but they have the halogen cutoff. halogen cutoff=bad! Plus, they do not produce light as well as the 3" ones

Basically what I did after I tore the headlights apart (THAT TOOK FOREVER! 300' at 8 minutes each, dremel and pop it apart) I started tearing apart and I opened up the holes more to allow the projector bowl up more. I mounted them with 1 screw and 3 nuts on each to hold them in. They are nylon locking nuts, so they stay secure. I used a total of 3 holders per hole on the projector.

By the way, bobby pins are a very good alternative to washers.

But other then taht you just have to make the projector hole fit the projector, you can use the halo to act sort of like a shroud though.

It is kind of confusing, but if you get it then yeah. It just takes a lot of fitting. The orange markers are just friction fit on there.

 

What if I got the HID kits for them, you think they would be pretty decent headlights then?

 

yes, however lighting isn't that great. Lighting compared to stock lens's is good. Foglights is almost a must with these. get 5K or 4300K. I got 6000K and I didnt get much useable light.

The conversion isn't cheap either. Cost for projectors is 60-90, bulbs is 45, then you need Ballast and D2S Connectors, which should cost around another 45. Hardware is around $10 too.

 

Ok, too many numbers combined with words. Haha. How are theses lights compared to stock lights without any modification? HID kits are fairly cheap so I would just do that.

 

I think they're great. Just make sure you get either 4300K HID or 5000K for optimum useable light.

 

Hmm... does anybody know how to make their own rear strut bar? I'm thinking about making one, but I need to figure out how to do it...
