Hi all, looking at a '97 T5. Odometer is stuck at 116xxx, PCV system needs service(blows smoke out of oil tube) ABS light is on etc. Interior and exterior look great. Didnt check compression yet. He's asking $2000. Thoughts?

 

Mileage was most likely only 119k per owner who said odometer stopped around 6 months ago. Compression was 155+ per cylinder. Bought it for $1900.

 

Nice. I just purchased one that the odo was stuck at 173,998. Had it read at an indi shop and it has 260,510. LOL As long as you like it, have fun.
