Looking to sell

rspi, Thank you for the feedback. I do understand that the mileage is something that many will not feel comfortable with. Then again, its such a common problem on these cars that buyers may have to understand that when finding an 850.
Is there any way of getting the true mileage reading from the ECU?

From what I understand (which isn't much), you can take it to a mechanic and they can read the ODO for you with an OBDII, I'm going to my mechanic to get something fixed that he previously broke on my last visit so I think I'm also going to ask him to pull the mileage for me, although he's probably going to charge me like like $45 just to him to pull the mileage. I'm pretty sure most places only charge like $20 if at all to pull the mileage if you're a regular. I remember doing some research and finding that it MAY be illegal to fix the ODO on your own and the only real way of doing it legally is to take it to a dealer, which will charge you like $200 just to change a tiny gear in the cluster.
Again, I could be 100% wrong.
