lots of problems (again)
'96 850 n/a...ok so even though i try to take care of her shes always sick.i feed her the best (only shell 91 octane).give her preventative and detox meds(seafoamed her through fuel and vaccum induction).and im changing her diaper soon(pvc)..i cant get a break...i have a child due the end of april and need this car in shape..heres her present problems
#1 checked my oil before work this morning and was dangerously low from a slow leak.went to my local quicklube to get a top off but "THEY DONT DO THAT". so i got the whole shabang only about 1k since my last.oh well...pcv job planned in 2 weeks...if my rear main seal is blown what are the dangers of not getting to it right away other than an oil leak?
#2 i also had it scanned and had a code. forget #. something bout too rich in bank one..explains real bad fuel mileage...what i want to know is does this mean bad o2 sensor? or are there other things to check before i spend money?
#3 transmission slipping...im going to try an anti-slip additive.fluid is ok.not due for a change yet.any driving methods i can use to minimize damage? ive messed with the econ/sport button a few times..any incorrect ways to shift between? like should i let go off the throttle before i switch to sport mode?
#4 when i fill up at the pump the needle does not reach the top of the gauge..stays maybe 1/4 inch below the 18 liter mark.havent let the level get low enough to see how long i can be on the empty/red part of the gauge before light comes on.needle moves fine(faster than id like)
help with any of these problems is greatly appreciated..thanks in advance guys

thanks tech, the fuel gauge doesnt really bother me...about checking for vacuum leaks, wouldnt that make for a lean condition not rich from unmetered air?
i like the new sig. picture...is it not a requirement in florida to have a front licence plate visible? i like the euro plates on the T5-r but like the cleaner look of the white one..thanks again..

thanks guys
Any codes for the tranny? Is CEL turned on?
I would first double-check the fluid level & its condition. The fluid should be clear red and must not have burnt smell. If it has a burnt smell, certain internal components (mostly the clutch components) may have burned.
If the fluid turns out fine, then I believe all you can do is to try Lucas fluid. As to driving suggestion, I would not move the shifter between R-N-D whilst the car is still in motion. I would also be easy on the gas (air, to be accurate) pedal until the engine has reached normal operating temp.
