Question love my Volvo...help

i have a 1994 850 nonturbo, im having trouble with the idle and gas mileage, have replaced maf sensor, fuel filter, spark plugs, distributor cap and wires, cam position sensor, and ignition control module, the car runs very rough when stopped and sometimes at around 45mpr. i have many codes on the car : A1 114,124,313, A2 132, 113, 232 A3 312 . this all started about a year ago and i had a vacuum leak and it was fixed . any advise of what to test next. thanks

Yea, there are at least 4 more parts you can thrown at it. Try an ECU.

Have you researched what those codes mean?

I hope I'm reading it wrong but it sounds like you've had these codes for a long time now ??

Did you replace the parts because they tripped the check engine light only or did you test any of them to determine if they were in fact bad ??

Go directly to your under hood diagnostic port and clear ALL codes. Save your list of codes to see if any return. As a code or codes come back, research them, post them here and we can go from there.

Default alittle more info my volvo

i have researched the codes and the parts i listed have were put on about two years ago, the maf was last week, my husband is a very good mechanic on american cars, but has no idea about the volvo. he says the fuel pressure is low and thinks its a fuel pump issue. i want to try to rule out any thing else because of the cost of the pump.i checked the fuel relay for damage but there was none.

i am going to check for any more vacuum leaks today and erase the codes again. oh ya i also have a small hole in my exhaust before the cat

The fuel pressure should be around 43 psi. If it's low it can cause a lot of misfire codes.

Just because the relay doesn't look damaged doesn't mean it's still functioning properly. When mine failed, it showed absolutely no visual signs of damage.

I'm not saying that this relay is your problem, but a visual check is not sufficient for diagnosing it.

Make sure you replace the fuel filter if you think you have or have low fuel pressure. A restricted fuel filter can cause low pressure too and can take the pump out if it gets bad enough.
