Default Lower motor mount advice

I'm replacing that lower motor mount behind the passenger-side wheel on my 1996 850 NA wagon with 168K miles. Not too soon, apparently, since the mount has collapsed to the point where it's not possible to get a socket in there to turn the 17 mm lower bolts. I measured the mount that's in there from top to bottom. It seems to be about 3 inches tall. The replacement is about 3.5 inches.

So my strategy is to remove the top bolts from the mount to the engine, then jack the engine a half or three-quarters of an inch so I can get a wrench in there. Seems obvious enough, but is there something I'm overlooking? Thanks.

You got it man. You may have to jack a little higher than that. Make sure you use a wide flat surface to jack the motor up. I usually jack up the oil pan with a 2" x 6" x 1'. Just did it yesterday.

The oil pans crack pretty easily so put the jack + 2x6x1 on the edges not the center of the pan

At least I didn't replace a part that wasn't actually worn out.
Thanks for the advice.
