Did a temp hookup of a boost gauge cause I ad a feeling I wasnt boosting what I should. I'm not. Only getting 5psi consistent, spikes after shift to maybe 8-9 psi. What should I check (read below first)

Background that will help diagnose:
Head was just replaced with a rebuilt one. Labor done by Volvo dealer. Many small parts replaced same time, like gaskets & hoses. And most vac hoses at same time. I tightened all the hose clamps I could reach to & from the intercooler. Only vac lines that look old are the ones going to the wastegate & the wastegate actuator. Look dried. Going to replace, but want to do it all one shot. And I am not getting any check engine lights.

Aside from the vac lines that look dry (no holes & its a consistent 5 psi) what else should I check??

I would replace the lines first and check again.

 

The rubber elbows on the lines have a tendency to die.

 

Elbows at the tree by the throttle body? Cause they look ok...

 

That's just one place. There are elbows or straight connectors at every junction. Does your cruise control work? I think that's tied into the same system it has hoses that run under the battery.

how much boost you think its supposed to push from the factory? and again the turbos arent calibrated either
