Default manual transmision problem

i have a 93 Volvo 850, there has been a bunch of mysterious issues with my transmission specially over the winter, i just got my master cylinder for the clutch replaced and all the clutch lines. the transmission was replaced just over a year ago. the clutch pedal right now just doesn't seem right when I'm using it, and the clutch fluid reservoir keeps building up more and more fluid. it did this before i got the lines replaced because i thought maybe there was a clog in the line, but yet the fluid still is building up in the reservoir and leaking out the cap, what can be causing this? can it be the slave cylinder going out? i don't have have the financial capability to just get the slave cylinder replaced and i was wondering what other possibilities, if any, could be causing this.

Also on a most likely un-related note, my car sometimes just randomly shuts off when driving, it doesn't seem to happen under one specific condition it just does randomly. My car then won't start for like 5 min, any ideas?
