Default Miss under load and jumpy tach needle

Hey All,I just purched an 93 850 non turbo. The problem I am having is there is a hesitation while driving and under load. All the tune up ignition parts are new(cap, rotor wires, plugs)I removed the coil to check for poor connection cleaned them all and re-installed them.Still the same problem.I am at a loss here.
I have talked to several people and they all say wires.(but they are new)I suspect a coil
Has anybody had this problem?Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had autolite XP3924 platinum.I have just put in NGK BKR6E,gapped at .029.The wires are jobber Bougicord.(checked resistance and they are good)
The tach seems to be better but I am still getting the hesitation.
I am starting to think it might be a fuel problem(new filter in place already)

Do you have a fuel pressure Guage you can install and watch as you drive?
You might want to try Bosch Plugs.
Volvo's don't like many plugs besides Volvo and Bosch plugs.

Check for any codes stored in the computer. If there are any, note them, clear, and drive around to see if they come back. I'm assuming that the check engine light is not on.

If you are indeed having any actual mis-fires, there may be codes stored. I'm thinking more along the lines of a fuel delivery problem. A weak fuel pump or worn out fuel pump relay may be the cause; no codes will be present any of these are the case.
