Missing vacuum line on intake manifold (passenger side, beside power steering pump)
I have had engine DTC 2-3-1 for a long time now and since I am trying to service my PCV I´d might as well try to find the vacuum leak.
Bay 13´s picture shows an elbow and a vacuum line attached to the passenger side of the intake manifold. My car has nothing attached there.

Where does that vacuum line go? Maybe some idiot mechanic or DIY removed it.

Someone might have bypassed the end nipple.
Look at the elbow in the induction hose just before the turbo there is that hose there is a valve with the hose connected to it follow it back.
If you are Non-turbo then it goes to the flame sheild housing in the induction hose.

Are you saying that the passenger side of the intake manifold is connected to the PTC with a vacuum line?
The hose with the red arrow is where it goes from the intake.
You can put a cap on that if you want to with a clamp.
Then connect a hose on your car to where the red arrow points and then just run it up to the vacuum tree and call it a day.
It will not go bad as fast as the factory setup and will be really easy to fix later if it does go bad.

So the setup would be:
1) Block passenger side intake manifold vacuum nipple with a cap and clamp
2) Run hose from red arrow to vacuum tree. Clamp on both sides.
Right?

The long PCV hose I have has a vacuum hose specifically for the intake manifold. I´ll just leave it as it is and use the factory setup.
Thanks a lot for the help anyways.
